Who we are

With over 40 years of experience, Extru S.A. is a leader in manufacturing, marketing and PVC and PE film extrusion, as well as aluminum. All our products are suitable for contact with food.

Our company was founded in 1979 in Uharte Arakil, Navarra. Currently our facilities are made of 5,700 m2, where we serve both the domestic and international markets offering different types of products depending on the requirements and needs of each of our clients.

We have a team that is always ready to listen to our customers and provide them with the all the necessary help. Our list of customers consists of both wholesale packaging, of major catering distributors as well as supermarket chains.

Extru, SAU complies with all the C.E.E. current regulations, that have been indicated in relation to plastics that are in contact with food, particularly as a PVC and PE manufacturer and as an aluminum manipulator. We have to give the following legal coverage to our customers:

- Regulation (EU) 10/2011 from the January 14, 2011 Commission on plastic materials and articles intended to come into contact with food.

- Regulation (EC) 2023/2006 of December 22, 2006 on good manufacturing practice of materials and articles intended to come into contact with food.

- Regulation (EC) 1935/2004 of the European Parliament from October 27, 2004 on materials and articles intended to come into contact with food.

- Directive 92/62 EC of the European Parliament and of the December 20, 1994 Council on packaging and packaging waste.

We also have a Health Registry as well as an ISO 9001: 2008 Quality Certificate.
Thus we have all the necessary documentation to market our products, ensuring traceability which allows us to have all the products located.
